Priorities & Focus

Economic Development

Being a local business owner, and an active member of CEDAC, creating plans to shape the future of our business community in the upcoming term looks like: Ensuring businesses have the space to grow, showcasing the opportunity for businesses across sectors to call North Grenville their home, and highlighting and preserving the history and beauty of our downtown core, by recognizing it’s draw as a visitor destination.

Affordable Housing & Senior Support

As the acting council liaison for planning & development, affordable housing is top of mind. Our community is rapidly growing, to meet the needs of current residents and new residents, a focus on long term sustainability is a priority. This includes more diversity in housing, to support residents in every stage of their life, and reducing red tape around permits for secondary suites.

Collaboration & Transparency

To be engaged, involved, and transparent is how we foster strong communities. Reflecting on my experience in strengthening community relationships and willingness to work hard when tasked across community organizations and municipal committees, I value the strength in collaboration, and place a continued priority on ensuring transparency through clear ongoing communication and community consultations.

What Does Council Do?
